How to make Vietnamese coffee tiramisu

Vietnamese coffee tiramisu is a delicious twist on the classic Italian dessert. Here's how you can make Vietnamese coffee tiramisu:

Ingredients:

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed Vietnamese coffee, cooled
  • 1/4 cup Kahlua (optional)
  • 24 ladyfingers
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Add the mascarpone cheese and beat until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks.
  • Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  • Mix the cooled Vietnamese coffee and Kahlua together in a shallow dish.
  • Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture and place them in a single layer in a 9x13 inch dish.
  • Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  • Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  • Just before serving, dust the top with unsweetened cocoa powder.
  • Cut into pieces and serve cold.
